Oakton Hosts Transportation, Distribution, Logistics and Manufacturing Job Fair, March 17

Oakton College’s five-week Truck Driving Program assists with job placement.

Skokie, Ill. (Feb. 23, 2026) - Looking for a job right now? Considering a career change? Exploring new training opportunities? Don’t miss Oakton College’s Transportation, Distribution, Logistics and Manufacturing Job Fair, hosted in partnership with National Able Network, on March 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The job fair will be held at Oakton’s Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 Lincoln Ave., Rooms P103-104, in Skokie. The event offers a valuable opportunity to connect directly with local employers who are actively hiring and to learn more about Oakton’s career-focused programs and certificates.

Attendees will also hear remarks from Oakton College President Joianne L. Smith, Ph.D. and community leaders. 

With more than 20 employers expected to participate, the fair welcomes job seekers interested in a wide range of careers, including:

Employers scheduled to participate include: Cook County Court, Illinois Tollway, Rich Products, Matrix Trucks, All Town Bus, ABF Freight, Ozinga, Away Staffing, S&C Electric, Schneider Trucking, CTA, New World Van Lines, First Student, Kalaju Transportation, Tag Transportation, Force Nation Staffing and Pace Bus. 

Employers will offer opportunities from entry-level roles to advanced technical and management positions. Attendees can also connect with National Able Network to learn about their career coaching and educational assistance programs.  

For those new to transportation, distribution, logistics and manufacturing or considering a career in the field, the job fair offers a chance to explore industry pathways and engage with Oakton faculty and staff. Representatives will be on hand to discuss programs, certifications and training options, helping attendees choose the educational path that aligns with their career goals. In addition, attendees can learn about scholarships and tuition assistance.
