  • The Division of Academic Affairs will move to its permanent location in the 2500 suite at the Des Plaines campus (2nd floor, main building) during the week of Dec. 9, 2024. 
  • The Des Plaines campus Library and Learning Center will move to their temporary location in the TenHoeve wing (1600 rooms) during the week of Dec. 9, 2024. The TenHoeve Rooms at the Des Plaines campus will be unavailable for events and meetings until Dec. 31, 2025.
  • The Division of Student Affairs has temporarily re-located to Room 2817.

Kluber Architects is working on construction documents for phase 1, which entails repairs and replacement to exterior doors across both campuses. Construction dates will be established upon completion of construction documents and bidding process.

Demolition of the concrete lake retaining wall outside of Entrance 18 (near the Des Plaines Student Center) is expected to take place during winter break, weather permitting. 

Following the wall’s demolition, installation of a railing is scheduled to begin in early January, lasting approximately two weeks. Sidewalks will be accessible for pedestrian traffic during this time, and entrances will remain open.
