Demolition of the concrete lake retaining wall outside of Entrance 18 (near the Des Plaines Student Center) is expected to take place during winter break, weather permitting. Following the wall’s demolition, installation of a railing is scheduled to begin in early January, lasting approximately two weeks. Sidewalks will be accessible for pedestrian traffic during this time, and entrances will remain open. |
