Following the pathway, this two-year program prepares you for high-tech production. Oakton offers several hands-on CNC courses starting from basic machining through CNC operation and setup, all the way to advanced CNC programming. You'll train on cutting-edge technology in industrial robotics, computer-integrated manufacturing (CIM) and more.
Classes align with real-world industry needs. While building your skill set, you’ll also build your network. Oakton students have resources available like the apprenticeship program and the Career and Transfer Center, which connects you to a vast network of manufacturing industry partners. Oakton has a partnership with the Technology and Manufacturing Association (TMA) that awards credit for specific courses and opens doors to further training opportunities.
