Additionally, Oakton Honors graduates who meet all general ISU transfer and program criteria are guaranteed admission into ISU and ISU's Honors program.

 

Benefits

  • Access to ISU admissions counselors and academic advisors to help navigate the transfer process.
  • Eligibility to apply for Honors Scholarships, in addition to other Transfer Scholarships.
  • Students who maintain these requirements have a special designation placed on their ISU transcript and are recognized at commencement.

Special Notes

  • Applications to the Honors program are only accepted for fall terms.
    • Students who transfer to ISU in spring terms can apply for admission to the Honors program for the following fall semester.
  • Students will not be required to submit some of the other Honors Program application requirements, such as written responses to essay prompts.
  • Students must complete a minimum of one Honors learning experience per semester and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3 each semester at ISU
