During enrollment in the Guaranteed Admission Program (GAP), Lake Forest College will provide advisement to students to discuss academic program requirements and transfer credit policies.

Criteria
To qualify students must:
complete both EGL 101 and either EGL 102 or SPE 103 with grades of C or higher to meet the English proficiency requirements of Lake Forest College.
complete a minimum of 30 transferrable credit hours. AP/IB credits may be applied toward the 30 semester hours in accordance with the Lake Forest College AP/IB tables.
maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale on all transferrable course work taken at Oakton College.
complete general education and coursework requirement for admission into their Lake Forest degree program within three years of initial enrollment in the GAP program with a maximum of 60 semester hours that will applied to their baccalaureate degree.
meet with Lake Forest College faculty advisor at the beginning of each semester during their time in the program.
also, meet with an assigned Career Advancement Center advisor at least once during their time in the program.
Courses lower than 100-level and courses not deemed transferrable will not be transferred.
Some majors have specific grade requirements for certain courses.
Guaranteed admission students are subject to the same admission and degree requirements, as well as the same academic policies governing all other Lake Forest College and Oakton students.
Students may opt to select the catalog edition of the term of entry to Lake Forest as appropriate.
This agreement offers Oakton College students Dual Enrollment during the summer terms at Lake Forest College prior to earning their Associate’s degrees at Oakton College. Students must meet all of the requirements outlined in this agreement to guarantee their admission and enrollment at Lake Forest College.

During the Dual Enrollment program, Lake Forest College will provide advisement to students to discuss academic program requirements and transfer credit policies.
Guaranteed $20,000 scholarship upon meeting the prescribed curriculum and the minimum of 3.25 GPA.
Lake Forest will provide official transcripts showing transferable coursework for the receipt of each updated Oakton college official transcript.
Students may qualify for lower-tiered pricing for summer courses at Lake Forest College provided that the student submit their FAFSA to Lake Forest’s Financial Aid Office.
Students may participate in Residence life and college life at Lake Forest while enrolled at Oakton.
Criteria
To qualify, students must:
apply to the program within their first year of enrollment at Oakton College.
remain in the program through the receipt of their associate’s degree.
enroll in and maintain full-time status (at least 12 semester hours) for entry into their Lake Forest College degree program within three years of initial enrollment at Oakton.
maintain a 3.25 on a 4.0 scale on all transferable course work taken at Oakton.
take a minimum of one course (4 semester hours), up to a maximum of two courses (8 semester hours) each summer term at Lake Forest College while concurrently attending Oakton, where the initial course(s) at Lake Forest must be within the first academic year of enrollment at Oakton.
Oakton students who seek to major in business, economics, or finance and have completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree, Associate of Science (A.S.) degree, or 60-64 transferable semester hours are eligible for the Pathway Business/Economics/Finance Scholars Program. This program is a 2+2 transfer program with guaranteed admission for qualified students.

Lake Forest College will support up to 15 Pathways Humanities Scholars who are interested majoring in the humanities and have completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree, Associate of Science (A.S.) degree, or 60-64 transferable semester hours at Oakton. Academic areas of focus include American Studies, Communication, English, History, Latin American and Latinx Studies, Modern Languages and Literatures, Music and Philosophy, and Theater.
